In addition to the mortgage, you also have to pay those monthly bills, here is a monthly average of our utilities for 2011. Obviously, in the summer the gas bill is almost nothing, but it goes up in the winter.
Water/Sewer: Clean Water: $124.54 every two months Total Year Cost: $737.03 Monthly Average: $61.42 Electric: Portland General Electric: charged monthly Total Year Cost: $1,063.95 Monthly Average: $88.66 (the highest bill was in January for $116.05, and the lowest bill was in June for $71.81) Gas: NW Natural Gas: charged monthly Total Year Cost: $432.40 Monthly Average: $36.03 (the highest bill being 80.61 in January and the lowest bill being $16.06 in June) Garbage: Pride Disposal Service: charged monthly Totaly Year Cost: $828.00 Monthly Charge: $69.00 (this is for the largest can they offer, plus a HUGE recycling can and a yard debris can) Cable/Internet: FIOS/Frontier - this is the service we currently use and the house is ready for action! Comcast - this is the service we used to have but FIOS was offering faster internet :) |
