Yes....we know our tree's need trimming... hahaha.
The first thing I loved about this house was the roses! Sadly.... since I don't know how to care for roses - they are in need of some TLC! However, I have had two horticulturists come out and evaluate the roses and several of the bushes date back to 1949! The driveway is over 100ft. long from the street to the Outdoor Living Room - this is perfect for an RV (and you can have those in your driveway in our neighborhood). It features Azelea bushes, roses, calla lillies, daffidils (in the Spring), blue bells and..... some grass that REALLY needs some TLC, too. There is a lovely front porch that is covered in shade for almost the whole day and comfortably holds two large whicker chairs and a trunk which can stay if you ask me super, duper nice. :) It's a great place to watch the kids play and see the world go by. We painted it blue in 2008.....? We did it in the high-end Miller "Lifetime Paint", so hopefully you won't need to repaint it unless you don't like the color. :) In 2005 Clean Water replaced the pipping that goes from the out-take (under the kitchen window) to the street and all the sewer/water pipes that run under the street in our neighborhood. THAT IS HUGE! Usually, that is the resonsiblity of the home owner (for the pipe that goes from the house to the street) however, because of the age of the houses and the run off from the creek, Clean Water did everyone's for FREE! There is a sweet patch of cement under the kitchen window that our sons hand and foot prints are in from when they did that work on the driveway. The windows are double pane alluinium and lock as well. There are two "storm" doors at the front and back of the house. |
